DOME OF PEACE FOUNDATION
It is the explicit intention of the artist to keep all the artworks created for the DOME OF PEACE together, as indivisible, unsellable unity, within the framework of an international non-profit foundation. This foundation has also the purpose to publish the existing artworks and to promote the building-project, in order to create the preconditions for the actual construction of the dome.
STATEMENT OF THE ARTIST
Currently the DOME OF PEACE has the status of "planetary art in progress". The art works (LIFEPOLES TRIPTYCH, LIGHT OF LIFE paintings) are ready, PLANETARIANS and the DOME building exist as models. How can the Dome be built? With which means? Where shall it be located? Who is co-creator?
It would be a step in the right direction to exhibit the LIGHT OF LIFE paintings within the frame of existing possibilities. But not many organisations with exhibition space in the required scale of size do exist, therefore it might be a good idea to present the DOME OF PEACE this way first.
We have seen over the last years, more and more clearly, that the world is in need of not only one, but many PEACEDOMES -spread all over the surface of the planet. Also the ART could need a new meaning very well!
